The willow creek family
Paola vitiello, od
Dr. Paola Vitiello opened the doors of Walker Road Vision Clinic over 15 years ago. It has since been renamed Willow Creek Eye Care and now employs an expanded staff, has moved locations and sees over 500 patients.
Dr. Vitiello was born in the Caribbean islands and attended school in Miami, Florida where she earned her Bachelor's of science. From there she went on to pursue her doctorate of optometry at Forest Grove's Pacific University College of Optometry. It was here that, Dr. Vitiello fell in love with the Pacific Northwest and was determined to open her own practice in Washington County. She wanted to create a space where she could build long lasting relationships with them. This goal has most certainly been reached as she now sees patients who have known her for almost two decades! Dr. Vitiello works alongside her patients to determine the most effective vision solutions in order to improve the quality of their lives.
Dr. Vitiello is a member of the American Optometric Physicians Association and the Portland Metropolitan Optometric Society. Being well traveled, she is fluent in French, English and can carry a conversation in Spanish. When she is not running her business or seeing patients, Dr. Vitiello enjoys spending time with her son, being outdoors, traveling and is an active member of the Portland Tango dance community.
angela ardiss, od
Dr. Ardiss has been with the practice for almost as long as Dr. Vitiello. Educating her patients and working with them to prevent eye health issues are key ingredients to her approach. Dr. Ardiss keeps abreast of the latest technological innovations available in optometry and uses her knowledge to educate her patients in order to determine a personalized approach to their eye care needs. She believes in informing her patients of ways they can prevent potential issues as opposed to treating problems after they arise.
Dr. Ardiss earned her Bachelor's of Science and Doctorate in Optometry from Pacific University in Forest Grove, OR. She is an active member with the American Optometric Association, Oregon Optometric Physicians Association and the Portland Metropolitan Optometric Society. She has over 20 years of experience in primary care optometry with several of those years spent co-managing laser refractive surgery.
She is a native of the Pacific Northwest who enjoys reading and watching movies in her spare time.
Tram Le, OD
Dr. Le is the most recent (and delightful) addition to the doctors here at the practice. After earning her Bachelor's Degree in Psychobiology from the University of California in Los Angeles she moved on to earn her Doctorate in Optometry from the Southern California college of Optometry at Marshall B. Ketchum University. She trained at VA Palo Alto in California, Hoopes Vision in Utah and Indian Health Services in New Mexico. She is a current member of the American Optometric Association and the Oregon Optometric Physicians Association. She has been a practicing physician since 2014 and has been with Willow Creek since 2016.
When she's not working hard to “ensure that her patients are seeing their best,” she can be found cuddling her two cats or cooking, laughing and playing board games with her partner. Dr. Le enjoys taking care of her patient's eye health.
